Sharon Pigg, LMSW

Social Worker

Hello! My name is Sharon and I am glad you are here! I received my Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and my Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from California University, Fullerton. I provide a safe and non-judgemental space and offer culturally-sensitive evidence-based interventions that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Integrated Behavioral Health Therapy (IBH), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). My approach is holistic in nature as I believe the healing work in therapy includes the individual’s mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health. I support adolescents and adults managing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions.

I have experience in working in a medical clinic supporting individuals with medical needs which have affected their mental health. Additionally, I have training in perinatal mental health and have worked with clients during the prenatal, pregnancy, and postpartum period. I enjoy helping clients reach their personal goals and gain self-awareness.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, trying out new recipes, and reading.
