Shane Hebeisen received a Bachelor’s of Arts in psychology from Ithaca College. He holds two Master’s degrees in clinical mental health counseling and professional counseling from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Hebeisen believes that therapy is not effective without a strong therapeutic relationship and therefore highlights the building of this through approaching each client with genuineness, empathy, and respect. His approach to therapy is person-centered and draws on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing interventions.

The clinical interests of Mr. Hebeisen include Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), social anxiety, and generalized anxiety. Mr. Hebeisen specializes in Exposure-Response Prevention (ERP), an effective evidenced-based therapy for OCD and social anxiety.
