Kate Frankenfeld, LMSW
Social Worker
Hello, I’m Kate. I received a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland’s School of Social Work. Throughout this process, I received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Suicide Prevention.
Mental health struggles can sometimes feel like our entire identity, but they’re not. You’re a person with a story, and I would love to hear it. Thoughts and emotions can weigh heavy on our minds, and my hope is to alleviate some of that burden by carrying it alongside you.
My passion is helping everyone feel understood and accepted for who they truly are. I strive to create an empathetic, supportive, and non-judgmental space to express your lived experiences and emotions. Together, we can create individualized strategies to empower you to take control of your life.
My areas of specialization include Depression, Anxiety, and Coping skills. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors, listening to new music, and creatively expressing myself through whatever art project I can get my hands on.
It takes a brave person to reach out, and I’m glad you’re here.
